Kimber K6S Kydex Holsters

The K6s Kydex holster is very well constructed and the shell is averaging around .080-.085 thickness depending on where I take a measurement from; this means it is sturdy and fits my 3 inch K6s very well. I ordered this model mainly because in the pictures I saw that the sweat guard completely covers the cylinder release and the size & position of the wing really tucks the stocks very well into my body which enhances concealment. I’ve been wearing the K6s Kydex holster since I received 10 days ago, early on I felt the sharp edges of the Kydex near the barrel digging into my pelvic area as I wear it AWIB. I modified the barrel and surrounding areas with a heat gun to round the flat sharp kydex into a rounded profile, most of the rounding that I did was at the barrel area. This would be a good update on future versions that DME produces. After wearing it for 10 days straight I noted that the hardware is still secure, there is no looseness of the attached belt clip, wing mod, and spacers. Communication from DME is excellent, order information confirmation is prompt and the time from ordering to receiving only took about 3 weeks which is really good considering I ordered it during the holidays. I wouldn’t hesitate to do business again… especially if/when I see an offering such as this for the S&W J frames (hint hint).
