Description Waffen SS M42 Planetree Smock. Quality reproduction print on cotton duck fabric fully reversible to autumn colours with foliage loops. These smocks were common all through the war so suitable for most re-enactment impressions. Large size will fit a range of sizes 40-44″ chest, Xlarge would fit 44-48″ chest. Several Plane Tree designs were produced from 1940 on-wards. This Zeltbahn is printed with the early war Planetree `2` pattern. It was produced from 1941-45 and used for a variety of clothing.SS Plane tree was discontinued in 1944 following the introduction of the peadot design.
